Unclean area

This is to draw the attention of the authorities to lack of cleanliness in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Block 18. Residents are deprived of breathing fresh air, thanks to heaps of garbage scattered all over the area. From footpaths to roads, everything is drowned in piles of litter. The area is also home to a busy food street which means that lack of cleanliness will also pollute the food being prepared by street vendors and other restaurants.

There is no one to look into the matter. The concerned department should take notice of the issue because every resident deserves to live in a clean residential area.
