Nawaz, NSA Nasser Janjua hold five-hour-long meeting

LAHORE: PM’s Adviser on National Security Lt-Gen Nasser Janjua’s meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif lasted for five hours Thursday. Both discussed counter-terrorism operations, regional security situation and peace process.
It was emphasised that conflicts never resolve matters as the ex-PM highlighted that he always preferred to talk about peace and love.
Nawaz was briefed about the national security and regional situation. The former premier stressed for friendly and peaceful relations with the neighbouring states. Janjua told him that all institutions are united for the protection of national security. According to sources, Nawaz Sharif is also likely to go to Saudi Arabia.
