KHAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Bajaur Agency chapter, on Wednesday staged a protest rally in Salarzai tehsil against the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR).
JI Bajaur president Qari Abdul Majeed led the protest demonstration at the Raghagan Bazaar in Salarzai tehsil.
Speaking on the occasion, the JI leaders said that tribespeople would march on Islamabad if the decision on FCR abolition and merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was not taken by December 31. The protesters blocked the road in the bazaar for traffic and chanted slogans against the FCR.
