Banks to remain closed on Monday

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealing on Monday, January 1, 2018, a statement said on Wednesday.

The central bank notified the bank holiday and instructed all banks and development finance institutions to remain closed for public dealing on the first day of the new year. However, all employees of banks would attend the office as usual, the notice said.
