PML-N Senate elections meeting

PML-N Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif presided over a meeting of Members Punjab Assembly of Lahore division in connection with Senate elections at Pakistan Muslim League-N Model Town Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Addressing the meeting, Hamza Shahbaz said that the Senate elections were of great importance for the democratic system of the country. He said that transparent and successful holding of the elections will further strengthen the parliamentary democratic system in the country. Hamza Shahbaz asked the assembly members of the PML-N to maintain unity in their ranks and ensure implementation of decisions of the party leadership. He said that every vote of members of legislative assemblies participating in Senate elections was of paramount importance, therefore, the assembly members should discharge the obligation as a national responsibility.
He said the assembly members should observe procedure, rules and regulations while casting vote in Senate elections so that their precious vote should not go waste. A briefing was also given to the participants in the meeting regarding electoral formula and procedure of casting vote.
