Services of Sardar Khan lauded

Rawalpindi: Glowing tributes were paid to senior news caster and social personality Sardar Khan on 40 years services provided in journalism, during a ceremony in his honour held at the Rawalpindi Arts Council here.

Ch. Naeem Ali Gujjar, senior lawyer and Chairman Islamabad Union Council 30, presided over the function, says a press release. The programme was organised by journalists, media persons including stage, radio and TV news casters.

Pemra Chairman Absar Alam said he enjoys 27 years old friendship with Sardar Khan while newscasters Ms Ishrat Fatima and Samina Waqar also praised the services of Sardar Khan. Director News and Current Affairs of state run broadcaster, Javid Khan Jadon in his address

termed Sardar Khan best newscaster.

Qaisar Masood Jaffri of daily Jang Karachi who particularly arrived here to attend the function and paid compliments to Sardar Khan for his activities in his field. Waqar Ahmad, Resident Director Rawalpindi Arts Council also congratulated Mr Khan on playing his successful professional services.
