LAHORE: Former national wrestler and Old Ravian Mian Abdul Aziz of Gawalmandi breathed his last at the age of 80.
He won Inter-collegiate flyweight mat wrestling championship in Govt Collge in early 60s. He was uncle of ex-international; weightlifter Akeel Javed Butt. He was father of Mohsin Aziz, Ahmed, Haseeb and Faisal.
Qul of Mian Abdul Aziz will be held on Sunday after Zohr prayers at Gillani House Pace Street Link Model Town. Meanwhile, all the members of Punjab Powerliftng Association condoled his death and prayed for his eternal peace.
