Progress in sports projects reviewed

LAHORE: Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan presided over a key meeting at National Hockey Stadium on Friday. The reviewed the progress of under-construction sports projects of south Punjab.The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary Planning Tehmina Habib, Project Director PMU Akram Soban, Assistant Director Planning Nasir Malik and divisional officers from Multan, DG Khan and Bahawalpur. The concerned officials gave Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan a detailed briefing about the under-construction sports projects.

Addressing the meeting Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan said the delay in the completion of sports projects in south Punjab will not be tolerated. “There is great talent in this part of province and we are making every possible effort for nurturing sports talent as per the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif,” he added. “The under-construction projects, after the completion, will provide a suitable platform to talented youngsters of south Punjab to express their potential”
