LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior woman leader from Punjab Saloni Bokhari passed away on Friday after losing her battle against cancer. Saloni Bokhari, one of the pioneer members of PTI, had been combating cancer for many years. She was laid to rest at a local graveyard. Her funeral was attended by a large number of noted political figures, including Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Dr Shahid Siddique, Umar Cheema, Sardar Kamil Umar, Zaheer Abbas and Malik Waqar. PTI Chairman Imran Khan, in his message, expressed profound grief over the death of Saloni, terming it a great loss to the party.
