Two commit suicide

LAHORE: A young girl committed suicide by taking poisonous pills in Batapur area on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Bano, the daughter of Joseph Masih of Batapur. The girl got depressed upon being admonished by her parents over cell-phone use late at night and swallowed poisonous pills. She was rushed to a local hospital where she breathed her last. In another incident, a 26-year-old youth identified as Arshad committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in his Harbanspura house over an unknown issue.
