17 kilogram hashish seized in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: The police claimed to have seized 17 kilograms of hashish and arrested the drug-trafficker during checking in Risalpur on Thursday.
The police sources said that acting on a tip-off, a police party led by Station House Officer Ayub Khan signalled a vehicle (ARV-835) to stop near Railway crossing in the limits of the Risalpur Police Station. On search, the law-enforcers recovered 17kg of hashish from the secret cavities of the vehicle. The alleged drug-trafficker identified as Asifullah, a resident of Parachinar, was also arrested.
