PARIS: Lyon winger Timilai Rokoduru has been suspended for seven weeks for a dangerous tackle against Toulouse last week in the European Challenge Cup, the organisers announced on Wednesday. The Fijian was shown a red card after smashing head-high into Sofiane Guitoune, as the fullback gathered in a high kick. Rokoduru was given a six-week ban for the offence with an extra week tacked on because of his poor recent disciplinary record. He will be able to play again on January 29 and can appeal. Toulouse won last Thursday’s match 30-23.
