MARDAN: A senior writer and journalist, Abdul Wahid Qalander, died after protracted illness here on Monday.
His funeral prayer was offered at Baghdada and he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. Politicians, poets, lawyers, journalists and people from other walks of life attended his funeral.
His Qul would be held tomorrow.
