LANDIKOTAL: Khassadar personnel at Torkham border foiled a bid to smuggle ice drug from Afghanistan and arrested an Afghan national, official sources said on Monday.
Torkham Political Tehsildar Tehseenullah told The News that Subedar Safeerullah, Shakeel, Rizwan and Khanuddin Shinwari searched the truck bearing registration number (5658-NGR). He said during search the Khassadars recovered 5.5 kilogram ice drug from the hidden cavities of the truck.
One accused identified as Imran was arrested. He was sent to Landikotal lock-up for further investigation.
