CDA ready for new recruitments

Islamabad : Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Sheikh Anser Aziz has announced some administrative steps to improve efficiency and performance of the authority.

“In order to strengthen authority administratively, consolidated steps have been taken. For the first time policy of right man at right place has been enforced which has not only significantly improved service delivery in the authority but also encouraged and boosted morale of the employees who are earning good name for the authority,” the CDA chairman in a statement said.

In this connection, Human Resources Department Directorate (DRD) has notified creation of two posts of Director Generals BPS-20 which will be purely filled by promoting CDA officers including Deputy Director Generals, Senior Directors and Directors of BPS-19 having 17 years experience in case of appointment in BPS-17 and 12 years experience in case of direct appointment in BPS-18.

Similarly, another notification has also been issued vide which post of Director Estate Management-I (West) has been created which would be filled 67% by promotion and 33% by initial appointment. Deputy Directors BPS-18 (Executive Cadre) who have three years of experience in BPS-18 would be promoted on this post while this post will be filled initially by a candidate having second class Public / Business Administration or Administration Sciences masters Degree having at least 12 years experience in BPS-17 and above.

Another notification regarding creation of three posts of Deputy Directors including Deputy Director Estate Management-I (West), Deputy Director One Window Operations and Deputy Director Land (Litigation) have also been issued.

Posts of Deputy Director Estate Management-I (West) and Deputy Director One Window Operations would be filled 67% by promotion while 33% initial appointment. The officers of Assistant Director BPS-17 (Executive Cadre) having five years of experience in BPS would be eligible for promotion on these while in case of initial recruitment posts will be filled a candidate having second class Public / Business Administration or Administration Sciences masters Degree having at least five years experience in BPS-17 or equivalent. Post of Deputy Director Land (litigation) would be also filled 67% by promotion and 33% by initial appointment. Assistant Director BPS-17 having five years experience would be promoted on this post which would be initially filled by a candidate having a second class Public / Business Administration or Administration Sciences / LLB having five years experience as legal practitioner, preferably in case of acquisition of land . labour Court and Labour Administration.

Another post of Assistant Director (BPS-17) Transport has also been created which would be filled purely by promotion. Transport Officer (BPS-16) having five years experience as would be eligible for promotion on this post.

Similarly, post of Estate Management Officer has been also created which would be filled 75% by promotion and 25% by initial appointment. Assistants and Assistant (Parokar), Naib Tehsildar working in scale 14, 15 and 16 would be eligible for promotion on this post.
