National team named for Blind World Cup
LAHORE: Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) selected 18 players for national Blind cricket team for 5th edition of (ODI format) Blind World Cup. The selection committee of Pakistan Blind Cricket Council comprising Syed Salman Tariq Bokhari (Chief Selector), Masood Jan and Ibrar Shah (members) selected following 18 players to represent Pakistan in the Blind World Cup to be held in Pakistan and UAE from January 7 to 21, 2018. These 18 players are selected after viewing their performance and physical fitness in the recent National Blind Cricket events and training camps that took place at Faisalabad and Okara in recent past. Chairman PBCC, Syed Sultan Shah approved the team list and also deputed the following team officials:
B1: Amir Ishfaq (Vice Captain), Riasat Khan, Sajid Nawaz, Zafar Iqbal, M Asif, M Ayyaz,
B2: Nisar Ali (Captain), Badar Munir, Haroon Khan, Mati Ullah, Anees Javed
B3: Mohsin Khan, M Jamil, M Ejaz, Sana Ullah Marwat, Israr Hassan, M Rashid
Zeshan Abbasi Playing Manager, Abdul Razzaq Coach, Masood Jan Batting Coach, Tahir Mehmood Butt Trainer and Asif Azeem Media Manager.
