CJ takes notice of high fees of medical colleges

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has taken suo moto notice on news item containing details that there is no uniform policy criterion for admission in private medical colleges.

It was further alleged that exorbitant fee is being charged by private medical colleges. Students could not get admission in government medical colleges. Then their parents rush towards private medical colleges for their admission and resultantly medical colleges charge exorbitant fee. The CJP has called detailed report from registrar, Pakistan Medial & Dental Council (PM&DC), Islamabad, within one week on the matter.
