Man held for defrauding US visa seekers

The Federal Investigation Agency’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Karachi, arrested a man on charges of defrauding people. As per a statement, an agent identified as Aurangzeb, son of Abdul Munaf Chohan, was arrested for defrauding people of Rs1.8 million on the pretext of providing immigrant visas for the United States of America. Moreover, a FIA spokesman said the authority’s Cyber Crime Circle, Karachi, has launched a probe on a complaint by the secretary of the Sindh Public Service Commission regarding the circulation of a fake press release about postponement of the Combined Competitive Examination test.
