Chinese varsity to join hands with NUML

Islamabad: The Communication University of China (CUC) keen to have joint students and faculty programmes in various discipline with National University of Modern Languages (NUML).

Besides languages Chinese Varsity interested to have Memorandum of Understandings with other departments like Mass Communication, Translation & Interpretation and Cross Culture Studies. This was stated by the director Communication University of China Mr Liang Yan while exchanging views with the Director General NUML Brig Muhammad Ibrahim in a meeting during his visit to NUML along with delegates on Monday.

Registrar NUML Brig (r) Aminullah Khan, Director Acad Dr. Zubair, Dean Social Sciences Dr. Sufiana Khatoon Malik and others were also present on the occasion. Direct CUC said that his varsity eager in student exchange programs to raise the standard of education in both countries.

He said his students willing to learn Pashto, Balochi, Urdu and Punjabi languages to play a better role in CPEC project. Director General NUML Brig Ibrahim in his address said that NUML also interested in faculty and student exchange program specially for mass communication department. He also suggested the honourable guests that NUML can help them and their students in teaching different regional and international languages. Registrar NUML brief the delegates about NUML and later delegation visited the different departments.
