No-confidence voting in Mansehra tehsil council today
MANSEHRA: The voting on no-confidence motion against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz tehsil nazim and naib nazim would be held today (Monday).
The councillors of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had moved the no-confidence motion against their own tehsil nazim Khurram Khan Swati and naib nazim Mohsin Waqar last week. Zahid Aziz of PML-N and Mohammad Fiaz of PTI have moved the motion.
Khuram Swati told reporters that the no-confidence motion against him was a conspiracy, which would meet failure.
“When I united tehsil nazims against the PTI-led provincial government in Hazara, the hidden hands started conspiring against me,” said Swati.
He added that he believed in serving people through development works and he proved it as a tehsil nazim.
