Dubai Baseball Cup: Pakistan trounce India to win gold medal
DUBAI: Pakistan thrashed arch-rivals India 11–2 to clinch Gold Medal in Dubai Baseball Cup at Little Baseball Field Dubai.
All the players of Pakistan team played very well in the tense clash. Skipper Umair Imdad Bhatti hit a home run and also score 4 runs.
Abdulkarim Saeed, President UAE Baseball Softball Federation, was the chief guest on this occasion. Syed Khawar Shah President and Syed Fakhar Ali Shah Executive Director Pakistan Federation Baseball welcomed the chief guest.
After the national anthems of UAE, India and Pakistan, players were introduced with the chief guest.
Later, Abdulkarim Saeed distributed the medals and trophies among the players.
Talking with media Abdulkarim Saeed said that it’s good to see India and Pakistan baseball teams in Dubai. He hoped that this series will be fruitful for the promotion and development of baseball in Dubai.
