Eight Pak players make it to main round

ISLAMABAD: Eight Pakistani players have made it to main round of the Kalsoom Saifullah ITF Future II that would get under way at the PTF Complex from Monday.
Samir Iftikhar has directly qualified for the main round considering his international ranking while Aqeel Khan was inducted in the main draw to his national No 1 ranking.
Four Pakistanis, Shahzad Khan, Abid Ali Akbar, Muzammil Murtaza and Abid Mushtaq have been given wild cards. Two Pakistanis, Ahmad Chaudhry and Heera Ashiq won their qualifying round to make it to the main round.
Ivan Nedelko has again been seeded No 1 with Spanish Enrique Lopez-Perez being the No 2 seed this time. Lopez who missed the first Future is due to arrive Monday.
