Pakistan facing problems due to Centre’s wrong policies: Qureshi
HARIPUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vice-chairman Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said that the country was passing through a critical time owing to wrong policies of the federal government.
This he said at the residence of Raja Shiraz Haider on his Dastarbandi as chief of Gakhar tribe in Khanpur village. Pir of Golra Sharif Syed Ghulam Nizamuddin, former MNA Umar Ayub Khan, Raja Amir Zaman and notables of the area were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PML-N's government has lost its credibility as the expectation with which people voted for it have been shattered. He said that owing to corruption by the leadership of PML-N, investors had lost their confidence.
About release of Justice Baqir Najfi's report on killing of 14 workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Model Town, Qureshi said that it was due to the struggle of PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and pressure from the public at large. He also criticised US President Donald Trump's announcement of recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and said he should withdraw his decision.
