PU students win
LAHORE: Punjab University students have clinched team trophy and four gold medals in All Pakistan Music Conference held at Open Air Theatre, Jinnah Bagh.
PU College of Art & Design (CAD) student Ghufran Chishti, Muhammad Awais from Department of English, Zaroon from Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology and Nazar Abbas from Department of Psychology participated in the event.
Besides this, the students from Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) Ali Jan and Shahid Ali clinched first position in Battle of Bands Eastern Music and Cultural Dance held at a private university in Lahore. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir congratulated them on their extraordinary achievement. Meanwhile, PU Library organised a special lecture on effective communication skills and customers services. Corporate sector speaker Usman Ali Khan, Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani, Director Career Counselling and Placement Centre Dr Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry, other saffers and students were present.
