Cold, dry spell continues
LAHORE: Cold and dry weather will prevail in the city here Friday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. Met officials said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. They said rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Malakand division, Fata, Northeast Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 48 hours.
No rainfall was recorded anywhere in the country, Met officials said and added that Friday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dropped down to -06°C. They maintained that in Lahore, maximum temperature was 24°C, minimum was 5.5°C and humidity level was 18pc.
