Model Town tragedy issue of entire nation: Shujaat

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that Model Town tragedy is an issue of entire nation and not just one party.
He said this while talking on telephone with Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri after Lahore High Court full bench had ordered making public of Justice Baqir Najafi report about massacre in Model Town.
Ch Shujaat Hussain reiterated full support to Dr Tahirul Qadri regarding the tragedy and said that Justice Baqir Najafi report being made public is a welcome step, inheritors of those who were killed in Model Town tragedy and the injured ones are still waiting for justice even today and the Pakistan Muslim League-Q is fully supporting them on this issue right from the first day and is raising voice on every forum against murder of unarmed people, including women and will continue extending full support in this regard in future as well, he added. Shujaat Hussain said that as the entire nation believed the oppressed of this tragedy will certainly get justice in this world and all those involved in the murder of innocents will surely be punished irrespective of their status so that nobody dare to commit such heinous act in future.
