Munir stars in Essco Club win

ISLAMABAD: Essco Club’s talented Munirur Rehman Tanzil smashed a powerful unbeaten 62-ball 104 to beat Asif Memorial Club by 79 runs in the NBP-ICA One-day Cricket Tournament here at Bhutto Cricket Ground.
Essco also stamped their authority because of skipper Munirur who also claimed 2 wickets to completely torment hapless Asif Memorial at their home ground. Munir hit 10 fours and 5 sixes in his superb century.
Scores in brief: Essco Club 286-6 in 38 overs (Munirur Rehman Tanzil 104 not out, Mohammad Naqash 61, Rizwan Ali 42, Mohammad Ali Salman 38; Al Imran 3-50, Kashif Majeed 2-55).
