Milad-un-Nabi: JI submits resolutions in NA, Senate secretariats

ISLAMABAD: The parliamentarians of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have submitted separate resolutions to pay tributes to the Holy Prophet (SAW) in the National Assembly and Senate secretariats. The JI central Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq and MNAs Sahibzada Tariqullah, Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqoob, Sher Akbar Khan and Aysha Syed have submitted two separate resolutions in the Senate and National Assembly secretariats.
The two houses of the Parliament are likely to take up resolutions in upcoming sessions by suspending routine rules. “This house pays tributes to the Holy Prophet (SAW) on the eve of Miladun Nabi (SAW),” the resolution said.
“This house of faithfuls expresses the resolve to implement teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) in individual and collective lives to make Pakistan a true Islamic welfare state and make it a peaceful place in the world,” the resolution further said. The parliamentarians of JI said it was imperative for members of the two houses to express their love and devotion with the Holy Prophet (SAW) and pledge to follow his teachings.
