Nawaz calls party meeting today

LAHORE: Former prime minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of PML-N stalwarts today (Saturday) to discuss the current political situation and court cases against his family.The meeting would be held at Sharif's Jati Umra residence and attended by politicians including Raja Zafarul Haq, Shahbaz Sharif, Parvaiz Rasheed, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Dr Asif Kirmani, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif and Mushahidullah Khan. The future course of action of the party and prevalent political situation would be discussed. The absence of party MNAs who had not attended the NA session last Tuesday without any ‘solid reason’ could also be discussed.
