HANGU: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial president Amir Muqam on Thursday said that the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif was not on the collision course with the state institutions.
Speaking at a public meeting in Thall on Thursday, he said that the PML-N would have been in collision course if Nawaz Sharif had refused to accept the Supreme Court’s verdict.
He said that Nawaz Shairf was the most-loved political leader in Pakistan, adding that the PML-N chief had not become rich overnight but had earned the fortunes over the years after hard work.
Amir Muqam said that PML-N had always been engaged in the politics of reconciliation and had strengthened the state institutions. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan had introduced deception and immorality in the politics of Pakistan, the PML-N leader added. He said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been pushed 50 years backward during the PTI government. “PTI wants to govern Pakistan after inflicting immense damage to governance structure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he added.
