Man demands recovery of money from swindlers

PESHAWAR: A young man on Wednesday asked the government to recover his hard-earned money from swindlers who had deprived him of Rs80,000.
One Saifullah, who runs a small grocery shop on Ring Road near Dir Colony, said that he received a text message on his cell-phone stating that he had been nominated for a prize of Rs700,000 in the game show of a private TV channel.
He said that he responded to the message to know as to how he would participate in the show. Saifullah said that he was asked to call on 03137156574 to know the details of how to get the prize.
He said that he called on the given phone number and a person who identified himself as Kamran Yousaf provided him a HBL account number for depositing fee for taking part in the game show.
He said that on different occasion several persons contacted him and asked him to deposit fee for air ticket, hotel reservation and other events.
He claimed that he had been contacted from the phone numbers 03038202163, 03137920616, 03014461775, and 03169111526.
