Police station front desk facilitating public, claims SSP

LAHORE KSSP Admin Rana Ayyaz Saleem has said police station assistants of front desk are playing very important role to minimise tension citizens’ tension that’s why distance between police and public has decreased due to their good behaviour.
He said front desk project proved to show excellent performance of the police. Staff of the front desks in police stations is devoted his or her self to serve people in the best interest of public. The SSP was addressing to the police station assistants of all police stations in the city at Alhamra. He said this is human nature that he always finds some help in any problem so behaviour of the front desk officers should be very polite and helpful for the citizens. If we hear the problems of the people with full attention, the half problem of the citizen is solved automatically, he said. In this meeting, suggestions to improve overall performance of the front desk officers were also putted up and SSP Admin has given the directions at these suggestions on the spots. He said this is the very good deed and fantastic commitment to the Allah to serve people and God Always assign those people to serve the humanity who deserve it. That’s why we should never lose our efforts to solve the problems of the citizens. All the officers should keep in touch with each other to address the problems of the applicants.
MOU SIGNED: Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab and World Congress of Overseas Pakistanis (WCOP), UK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed during an event arranged by WCOP in central London, UK. Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti and Chairman WCOP Syed Qamar Raza signed the document representing their organisations. Giving details in the regard Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti said both organisations are working for the welfare of Overseas Pakistanis and to enhance their safe investment in Pakistan. Both parties are desirous to cooperate with each other for achieving their shared objectives of serving the Overseas Pakistanis. He said that Overseas Pakistanis have great potential to contribute to the development and progress of the country and according to MoU the OPC will facilitate Overseas Pakistanis in lodging their complaints in appropriate manners and will try to resolve such complaints through arbitration in District Overseas Pakistanis Committees avoiding lengthy process.
