French envoy hosts dinner

Islamabad: Ambassador of France Dr. Marc Baréty hosted a dinner in honour of the Pak-France Alumni Network (PFAN) at his residence, which was attended by about 70 alumni, among them members of Pakistani alumni, representatives of French companies based in Pakistan and representatives of ‘Hello Tomorrow Pakistan’ (start-up) says a press release.
Addressing the gathering, the ambassador lauded the contribution of the Pak-France Alumni Network to French-Pakistani academic and scientific cooperation. He invited the PFAN to diversify its sources of funding and to explore venues of cooperation in the fields of research and development with the French companies based in Pakistan.
He invited the PFAN members to join the France Alumni Pakistan platform, which aims to connect international alumni with France. The network is present in eighty seven countries worldwide.
French dinner 275 alumni are registered with the France Alumni Pakistan platform, the aim of which is (1) to valorize the study experience in France and (2) to create a global community of belonging to France.
Among other goals, here are the main features of the France Alumni platform: A directory to get in touch with former students from various countries;A magazine section to remain connected with the cultural and touristic news about France.
