The Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Khana-e-Farhang Iran here on Tuesday.
FJWU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Samina Amin Qadir and Muhammad Akbri, director general-cultural attaché, signed the document of MoU for academic cooperation. In the MoU, special attention was givento the establishment of collaboration to provide education, infrastructure, skills, orientation and access to library, local and international exposures, Persian language courses and peer networks.
During the meeting, the vice chancellor briefed the guests on the academic programmes, facilities, infrastructure and history of the university building. They also discussed students involvement and scope of national and international linkages and academic partnership. While appreciating the infrastructure and facilities available on the campus, Mr. Akbari said that they would like to conduct joint research as there are many commonalities between the culture and history of both countries.
