LAHORE: The Qiraat and Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences arranged All Pakistan Naat-Qiraat contests. A large number of students from various universities participated in these contests. According to a press release Tuesday, in Qiraat contest, Muhammad Mudassir (University of Agriculture Faisalabad) won 1st position, Hafiz Muhammad Amir (Government College University Lahore) got 2nd while Muhammad Malik Anas (University of Education Lahore) stood third. In Naat contest, Husnain Mujahid (Government College University Lahore) won 1st position, Ammar Zia (Garrison University Lahore) got 2nd position and Ali Mukarram (University of Agriculture Faisalabad) stood third. Renowned scholar Saeed Ahmad Saeedi was the chief guest on the occasion. Later, VC Prof Dr Talat Naseer distributed shields and certificates among the winners of the contests.
