Hitman among three suspects held by Rangers

The paramilitary force announced the arrests of three suspects, including a target killer, on Tuesday.
The spokesman for the Sindh Rangers said an alleged target killer, Mohammad Waheed alias Jamal, was apprehended in a raid in Surjani Town.
He said the suspect was involved in target killings, extortion, land grabbing through China-cutting, wall- chalking, torching of vehicles during strikes called by a political party, bank robberies and street crime offences.
In raids carried out in Baghdadi and Surjani Town, paramilitary soldiers arrested Owais and Sarfraz Ahmed alias Gooshi and shifted them to their headquarters.
The two were said to be involved in several heinous crimes. Owais allegedly shot and injured a woman in firing incident in Lyari and Ahmed was suspected to be involved in land grabbing and other crimes.
Weapons and looted items were seized from the possession of the suspects, who were later handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
