‘LCWU will be made a Smart University’

LAHORE: Oracle Corporation will support Lahore College for Women University in becoming smart university and achieving its vision 2050.
According to a press release Monday, Irfan Shehzad, director South Asia & Pakistan, Oracle Funded Agency & Government Business called on LCWU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Uzma Qureshi and briefed her on mutual programmes for capacity building, technological trainings and funded projects. Prof Uzma Qureshi said LCWU would be developed into a “Smart University” as Higher Education Commission of Pakistan would provide WiFi blanket across the campus. “LCWU will facilitate multinational companies to introduce latest technologies in all the departments,” she added.
