MANSEHRA: Member National Assembly (MNA) Mohammad Safdar Sunday inaugurated the natural gas supply to Tanawal area of the district, challenging various political parties to launch schemes that could change the fate of people in remote areas.
“Our hands are clean and we are not corrupt but being victimised in the name of accountability,” Safdar told a public gathering held in connection with the inauguration of natural gas supply to Tanawal on Sunday.
He said that conspiracies were being hatched against the country after disqualification of prime minister Nawaz Sharif but his party would confront such designs. “Nawaz Sharif is a leader of nation and cannot be ignored in the name of so-called accountability,” Safdar said. He said that his father-in-law did not bow to the pressure and made the country the first Islamic atomic power.
The legislator said that people of Tanawal had been deprived of the basic amenities since the country came into existence but the PML-N government launched such mega projects. “This natural gas supply project will bring revolutionary changes in lives of local people,” he added.
