University of Liverpool, PU sign MoU

Lahore: Punjab University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Liverpool, England, to promote academic linkages, research collaboration and student exchange in the field of biological sciences.
The MoU was signed by Prof Dr Susan Dawson, dean, Institute of Veterinary Sciences, on behalf of the University of Liverpool and Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, dean, PU Faculty of Life Sciences at Leahust Campus, Liverpool, England.
Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan led a 10-member PU academic delegation to various universities and research organisations in England from Nov 7 to Nov 16, 2017 under a joint PU-British Council “Transnational Education Link Programme” supervised by Dr Zulfiqar Ali, associate professor, Department of Zoology. During the week-long study tour, the PU students visited the Natural History Museum, London, Colchester Zoo, London and Chester Zoo, Liverpool. They attended the “Annual Aerosol Science Conference” in the University of Birmingham, in which, the students presented their research papers.
