CDA to make Argentine Park lush green

Islamabad :Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sheikh Anser Aziz has said that Argentine Park was developed as token of friendship between the two countries in order to make this park lush green, more plant species are being added.
It is matter of encouragement that not only concerned departments and residents are making Islamabad greener but the diplomats residing in the Federal Capital are also participating in the process of making Federal Capital lush green, Mayor added.
He expressed these views during a tree plantation ceremony held at Argentina Park. On this occasion, Ivan Ivanissevich, Ambassador of Argentine, senior officers of MCI and CDA were also present. Sheikh Anser said that Pakistan and Argentine both countries are bound in strong ties of friendship.
The scope of this friendship covers all aspects including economic, cultural and others and Argentina Park speaks about the friendship of both countries. He said that for the first time in the history of Federal Capital, local bodies system was introduced and responsibility of development of the city was given to the local elected representatives.
