PCF to hold two races from Karachi

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) will organise cycle race from Karachi to Gwadar next month. The PCF will also hold Tour de Pakistan race from Karachi to Peshawar in February, said an announcement here Thursday.
The president PCF Idris Hayder Khwaja has nominated General Secretary Sindh Cycling Association (SCA) Malik Kaleem Ahmad Awan as chief Organiser for the Karachi-Gwadar event.
The president PCF said that law and order has resorted in the country and after holding cricket matches, the PCF is organising cycling races of international level like Tour de France race with the support of federal government and Pakistan Army.
Besides the teams from across the country, the USA, Iran and Afghanistan have also assured to participate in the races.
