Alert issued about unrecognised university

Islamabad

February 16, 2015

Islamabad: Here is an alert for students and parents: the government watchdog for higher education doesn't recognise the International All Education Open University Lahore, so it is not authorised to award degrees, diplomas and certificates.
This alert has been issued by HEC Director General (accreditation and attestation) Farmanullah Anjum.
According to the HEC official, the International All Education Open University Lahore is not recognised by his organisation and therefore, it can’t award degrees, diplomas or certificates under its own seal and signature.
“The public is informed that any degree, diploma or certificate issued by any such educational institution, which is operating without obtaining NOC from the HEC, will not be recognised or attested by the HEC,” he said.
Farmanullah Anjum urged the people, especially students, to know about the higher education institutions recognised by his organisation by visiting the HEC website before thinking about getting admission there.
