AN art competition featuring the work of young artists from 10 countries and 200 schools was held at Beaconhouse-Newlands here on Thursday.
According to a press release, senior school students from Beaconhouse Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Sialkot and Hyderabad as well as students from other schools participated in the competition.
The contest was hosted by Beaconhouse-Newlands and had two categories: an exhibition of pre-submitted artwork entitled ‘Young Canvas’ and a live art competition titled ‘Mussawir’.
The total number of submissions received was more than 600. The event was judged by renowned artists Mr R M Naeem, Ms Sadaf Naeem and Ms Ayesha Durrani.
