ISLAMABAD: Ahmad Hasan Daiyo has been appointed Pakistan’s ambassador to Sweden. He will be replacing Tariq Zameer who has completed his tenure in Stockholm and returning to the headquarters. High commissioner-designate for Malaysia Nafees Zikria has deferred his departure for capital Kuala Lumpur. He had planned to leave in middle of the month. The outgoing high commissioner in Malaysia Syed Hasan Raza is also reporting back to Islamabad for his next posting. Syed Hasan Raza is an astute diplomat and he will be assigned an important slot in the Foreign Office (FO) upon returning from Kuala Lumpur. Well placed diplomatic sources told The News here that important reshuffle will take place in the FO a couple of weeks.
