ISLAMABAD: Seasoned politician and chief of MQM-Haqiqi Afaq Ahmad has said that JIT report of Baldia Town Factory massacre was prepared long ago and he announced the findings of the same JIT during a press conference on February 27, 2014 at Karachi Press Club, adding that this report has been brought on scene now only because of Senate elections.
“Not only government but even the institutions have lost their dignity and repute because of submitting JIT report to court and bringing it on scene too late simply to have some political benefits,” Afaq said during an exclusive interview with The News and added “These people are politicking using the blood of poor victims of Baldia Town Factory.” Afaq criticised Altaf Hussain for openly condemning army and ISI.
Afaq said that he was sure that this issue of Baldia Town Factory will not die down now as all political forces of the country are getting united to punish the culprits behind burning alive 258 innocent people.
He said that a constitutional office in Karachi was misused to deal with issue of taking extortion from Baldia Town Factory owners. He said that the constitutional office holder in Karachi also called judges to threat them regarding Baldia Town Factory issue.
Afaq said that institutions and government must not act weakly on the issue of Baldia Town Factory and should start taking strict action against those who were involved in this one of the most barbaric acts of human history. He said that innocent people of Karachi were burnt alive only because Altaf Hussain was demanding more money by sitting in London. Aafaq said that our institution even misused JIT report of horrible Baldia Town Factory incident and so far no action has been taken against the culprits. He said that audio recordings between judges and a top constitutional office holder will be soon shared with the Pakistani nation. He said he will disclose later whether judges were of high court or some other court.
Meanwhile, MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari has denied charges against Altaf Hussain and regarding MQM involvement in burning of 258 people alive to recover Rs200 million extortion money.
