Rawalpindi :Ameer of Jamaat e Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq has said it was not the inherited right of the feudal lords to rule the country and the JI wanted to bring forward talented and aspirant youth to lead the nation.
Addressing the select leadership of the JI youth from Rawalpindi district, he said that JI had decided to grant 50 per cent of tickets in the next general election to the youth. Sirajul Haq said that the Companions of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) including Hazrat Imam Husain (RA) were a role model for the youth and His love required that the nation was clearly told who were the forces of Yazid at present.
He said the JI believed and trusted Almighty Allah and in the power of vote for bringing about an Islamic revolution and added that there was no other option before it. He said that the parents spent all their resources to educate their wards but the young men with degrees in their hands, had to rush from pillar to post in search of jobs but in vain. Sirajul Haq stressed that it was imperative to create an awakening among the youth against the status quo and also the benefits of the Islamic system based on justice and equality.
