LAHORE THE Lahore police arrested 226 members of 87 gangs of criminals during the month of January 2015. Police traced around 231 cases registered against them. Police arrested 1,546 Proclaimed Offenders and court absconders during the abovementioned period. During the month of January, police registered 540 cases and arrested 545 persons for having illicit weapons. Police registered 560 cases and arrested 604 culprits for having drugs. Moreover, 66 cases were registered against gamblers and 150 persons were arrested in this regard. Police registered 255 cases against 303 culprits on various criminal charges during the month of January.
