LAHORE: Tevta Chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh has said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring industry in Pakistan and create job opportunities.
In a press statement issued on Monday, he said there was a dire need to create a workforce along with industry to fulfill the future needs of industry and added this workforce should meet international standards so they could avail opportunities.
Irfan Qaiser said Tevta was offering 50 short-courses to students of Punjab besides it was also awarding Rs 1,000 stipend. He said Tevta had already started HTV driving courses as after the CPEC there would be demand of heavy vehicle drivers. He said similarly hospitality sector was also being focused as trainers from Sri Lanka were training students in this field.
