ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of Saudi Arabia will organise an exhibition at ‘The Centaurus’ shopping mall where Ghalaf-e-Kaaba and door of Khana-e-Kaaba which has been replaced with new one, will be put on display.
The 25-day cultural exhibition will be arranged after Eid for which the management of the shopping mall has provided space free of cost as a goodwill gesture.The Saudi community based in Islamabad will also register full participation in the event.
“We welcome the Saudi friends to organise the exhibition for which they have selected the place,” President Pak Gulf Construction Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan said adding there will be many features at the event for interest of the general public.
The Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Malkiy has also thanked management of The Centaurus for showing goodwill gesture which will go a long in further promoting friendly relations between the two Muslim countries.
“It is heartening to note that people of Pakistan and your good-self are working to strengthen friendly ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan,” the Saudi envoy in a letter addressed to Commodore (R) Irfanul Haq, General Manager of The Centaurus, said.
