Headmaster, five teachers suspended for being absent

TOBA TEK SINGH: Education EDO Najma Kausar suspended the Government High School Chak 430/JB, Gojra, headmaster and five teachers for being absent.
The Education EDO paid a surprise visit to the school and found Headmaster Saifur Rehman and five teachers - Farooq, Rizwan, Zeeshan, Sajid and Riaz – absent from duty. She suspended the absent headmaster and teachers and directed Government High School, Pacca Anna, Headmaster Abdul Rehman to hold an inquiry against them. She also expressed dissatisfaction over poor security arrangements.
Meanwhile, the EDO announced reward of pay raise for 206 teachers for showing extraordinary performance. The reward would be given to them under the chief minister’s programme.

Dacoits kill man for chasing

TOBA TEK SINGH: Two dacoits gunned down a man for chasing them near Pirmahal on Wednesday.
The dacoits were fleeing after looting a man when villagers and policemen started chasing them. On seeing police and villagers, the dacoits opened fire on them. As a result, Ijaz of Chak 741/GB died on the spot while the dacoits managed to escape.

Two injure sister, her paramour for ‘honour’

TOBA TEK SINGH: Two brothers injured their sister and her paramour for honour at Chak 660/1GB near Pirmahal on Wednesday.
Hassan and his brother Ali saw their sister Ayesha with her paramour Umar. It infuriated them and they allegedly shot at and injured them. Ayesha and Umar were shifted to the DHQ Hospital in a critical condition.
